Thomas “Tom” Odiorne Youtsey, Jr. Age 85 graduated from Dixie High School and attended Kenyon College, Gambier, OH before joining the WW#2 Navy, serving in Brazil. After being discharged from the navy he attended and graduated for the University of Kentucky receiving his B.A. Tom’s career began at the Covington Buick Co, owned by his father. A few years late he became agent and latter owner of Gene Ware Insurance Agency. Some years late, he and William C. Beuttel, Sr. combined their individual insurance agencies into Beuttel/Youtsey Insurance,Covington, KY from which he retired. His greatest pride and joy was time spent on various organizations including Member and Vestryman Trinity Episcopal Church, First President Y.M.C.A. No.KY, President Covington Kiwanis Club. President Highland Cemetery Board, President Wm. Booh Mem. Hospital, Covington (lead in moving and building Wm. Booth Mem. Florence, KY and negotiated merger with St. Luke Hospital, Board Member ,Chairman of Trust Committe Peoples Liberty Bank,Covington, (helped analyzed and negotiat merger with Star Bank) Died Wednesday, May 18,2011 at his Ft.
