(Sara) Catherine Appleton Clifford, 89 of Crestview Hills, KY, passed away Friday March 30, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospice.Edgewood, KY. She was preceded in death by husband Fred and daughter Judith. SURVIVORS include her Son, Colonel James Clifford (Retired U.S.Army) Scottsboro, Al. Daughters: Nancy Sargent, Crestview Hills, KY, Rebecca Wichmann, Lakeside Park, KY; Cynthia Raffli, LaGrange, KY. 10-Grandchildren and 10-Great Grandchildren, Catherine graduated from Bergen High in Bergen, NY. Attended Rochester School of Business and was employed at Eastman Kodak Co.. She joined the USMC in Nov 1942. Fabricated wings on the F4F fighter at Quantico, VA and later became mother and homemaker. MEMORIAL SERVICE 12:30PM Thursday April 5th,, Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel, 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY. NO VISITATION.
