Nancy Carol Swartz Daly, age 79. Resident of Independence, KY. Passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood, KY. Retired in 1995 after 25 years of service as a secretary for the Covington, KY Fire Department. Formerly employed by the Marx Furniture Co., Covington, KY. Honorary member of the Firefighters’ AFF Union, local #38. Enjoyed sharing special events with her family and her firefighter boys, shopping and being an avid reader. SERVICE 7:00PM Friday, October 18th, Allison & Rose Funeral Home, 5645 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY. INTERMENT SERVICE 10:00AM Saturday, October 19th Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Chapel, Taylor Mill, KY. VISITATION 4:00 until 6:45 PM friday at the funeral home. Preceded in death by her: late son-Steven Daly, father-Horace Dale Swartz and mother-Thelma Anness Swartz. Surviving are her: daughter-Patricia (David) Winterman, Independence, KY; sons-Michael (Denise) Daly, Walton, KY, David Daly Covington, KY, Dale Daly, Covington, KY; 7-grandchildren; 10-great grandchildren; sister-Linda Keegan, Clifton,OH and one niece.
