Marcella “Penny” McNeese Finnell of Taylor Mill age 82, passed to her final reward on Friday, January 24th, 2014. She dedicated her life to family, home and hearth. As the middle child of 15, she helped raise many of her younger siblings and then started her own family. She enjoyed entertaining family and travelling with friends to places like Buckhorn Lake and on bus trips across the country. She has left a legacy of love and caring for all those she came in contact with. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Raymond, her sons David (Margaret) of Burlington, KY and Mark (Kay) of Jefferson City, MO. her grandchildren Jesse Edward (Lauren) Finnell, Carl Robert Finnell, Megan Ann Finnell, Steven Ray Finnell and Lisa Marie Tucker, and great granddaughter Nora Hadley Finnell. She is also survived by her brother John (Pam) McNeese and sister Bonnie (Robert) Day. She was preceded in death by her parents William Stanley and Gertrude Florence McNeese, brothers Ira, Melvin, Bill, Paul, Edward, David, Charles and Marvin and sisters Kathleen, Oma, Evelyn and Mary. She also leaves a large number of her dear nieces and nephews. She was a member of Demossville Baptist Church and a 58-year member of Rosebud Chapter #39, Order of the Eastern Star. Visiation will be Tuesday, January 28th from 4:00 to 8:00p.m. at Allison & Rose Funeral Home, 5645 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY, with funeral servics at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 29th at 11:00a.m. Interment Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY.
