Madeline Thompson Sorrels, age 89. Resident of Florence, KY, formerly of Covington, KY. Passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Health Care Hospice, Edgewood, KY. She was homemaker. Member of: Florence First Church of God and Rosebud Chapter #39 OES. Enjoyed making: peanut brittle, butterscotch and chocolate pies for family gatherings. SERVICES 12:30 PM Tuesday, April 15th at the Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Robbins Street and Madison Avenue, Covington, KY. INTERMENT Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY. VISITATION 10:30 AM until hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Proceeded in death by her: husband-Roy Herbert Sorrels (1969) and parents Elbert and Margaret Gordon Thompson. She is survived by her: son-James H. Sorrels, Sr., Eastgate, OH; daughter-Linda Ann Sorrels, Lakeside Park, KY; grandchildren-Tracy Miller, JamesH. Sorrels, Jr., Tim Sorrels, Tom Sorrels, John Sorrels, Steve Sorrels; great grandchildren-Alex Miller, Matthew Sorrels, Adam Sorrels, Andrew Sorrels, Stephen Sorrels, Tess Sorrels; sisters- Patricia Turner, Daytona Beach, FL and Kathy Shore, Lakeside Park, KY.
