Kathy Louise Rupert Short, Age 72. Born in Ashland, Ky Raised and lived in Independence, KY Current resident of Cadiz, Kentucky. Passed to her eternal home on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood, KY. She was a retired Security guard for the Western & Southern Life Insurance Co. Cincinnati, OH and a member of the United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: Stephen Short, Sr, and son Matthew Martin, and her father Fred C. Rupert. Surviving are her sons: Stephen Jr and Christopher Short. Grandchildren: , Bryce Martin, Jackson Martin, Olivia Martin, Hannah Short, Colin Short, Matthew Short and Great Grandchild Ryden Short. Brother Christopher (Gayle) Rupert. Mother, Helen Louise Rupert Visitation Monday, June 6th from 12:00 PM until hour of service 2:00 PM, Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Inc., 5645 Taylor Mill Road Taylor Mill, KY.
