Karl E. Kepler, age 86. Resident of Florence, KY formerly of Kenton County, KY. Passed away, Wednesday July 23, 2014 at the Florence Park Care Center, Florence, KY. WW#2 ArmyVeteran. Retired owner/operator of Karl E. Kepler, Inc. Commercial HVA Co., Cincinnati, OH. Life long member, Elder Emeritus, choir member, Sunday school teacher, Trustee, General Board member, help start church’s community dinners program, of the Madison Avenue Christian Church. Member of: Covington Lodge #109 F&AM; Indra Consistory Scottish Rite; Highland Cemetery Board; Covington Wade Branch YMCA Board; Erlanger Kiwanis Club-Past President; Fort Mitchell Country Club; Covington Women’s Home Board-Past President; Florence Community Chorus, former High School Substitue Teacher for Boone County Schools and A.S.H.R.A.E. Alumnus of Holmes High School, and Eastern Kentucky University. An avid golfer, enjoyed voluntering for the Northern Kentucky Senior Citizens Association. CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE 5PM Sunday, July 27th Madison Avenue Christian Church. RECEPTION and VISITATION FOR FRIENDS will follow services Sunday in the church’s Fellowship Hall. MEMORIALS, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Madison Avenue Christian Church, 1530 Madison Avenue, Covington, KY 41011. In keeping with his unselfish lifestyle of giving to others, Karl donated his body to the University of Cincinnati Department of Anatomy. Preceded in death by his parents-Franz Liszt and Lillie Mae Anderson Kepler. Surviving are his: beloved wife of 62 years Gwendolyn “Glenna” Waddell Kepler; son-Kurt (Valarie) Kepler,Erlanger, KY; daughter-Reverend Jill Kepler Campbell, Batesville, IN; twin daughters-Judith Anne (Chris) Alvey, Deer Park,IL and Jennifer Sue (Mike) Mueller, Ponte Veda Beach, FL; grandchildren-Andrew Campbell, Erica Kepler, Luke Kepler, Steven Mueller, Brett Mueller, Reed Mueller, Alexis Alvey and Nicholas Alvey.
