John Leslie Longard , age 67. Resident of Wilder, Kentucky passed to his eternal home on October 1, 2021 at the St. Elizaberth Medical Center, Ft. Thomas, KY. He was a ordained Disciple of Christ minister, Enjoyed gardening, fishing and being with his family. He is predeceased by his parents Leslie and Verona Benton Longard. Surviving are his: beloved wife Mary Riddle Longard, married December 19, 1975; daughters Liz Longard ,Emily (Eugene Ellis ) Longard, and son Ben (Samatha) Longard; grandchildren: Isiah Ellis, John Vaughn,, Maemi Ellis, Lexie Ellis, and Zara Ellis; sister Kathy Duvall and nephew Jon Duvall. Visitation 10AM until hour of service 12 Noon, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the First Christian Church, 14 West 5th Street, Covington, KY 41011.
