John Melvin Emmett, age 88. Passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his Latonia, KY residence. He was a 30 year veteran, retiring as a Radar Equipment Foreman for the U.S. Navy. Enjoyed nature, bird watching and maintaining his yard. Preceded in death by his: parents-George T. and Norma Grogan Emmett; brothers-:Leroy, Bud and Earl Emmett; sisters- Marian Koehler, Joyce Shreck, Virginia Kuntz and Loretta White. He is survived by his: 3-Sons, many grand and great grandchildren; Sister- Shirley Emmett and many nephews and nieces: VISITATION 12:00 pm until hour of service Tuesday, May 22nd at the funeral home.
