Joann Eve Aurandt Huff, age 85, daughter of Harry (Cappy) and Marie Edmonds Aurandt, passed away peacefully on June, 23, 2017, at her home in Covington, KY, in the care of her loving family. A graduate of Holmes High School and Miami University in Oxford, OH, she was employed for 20 years as a Secretary at Procter & Gamble and Central Trust Company (PNC). She contributed these secretarial skills to Rosedale Baptist Church where she was Church Secretary, Treasurer, and served in numerous volunteer roles there. She was Past Matron of Emera Chapter #392 OES and Rosebud Chapter #39 OES. Through her active work in the Masonic Order, she met and married Edward L. Huff, Sr., immediately acquiring a loving, ready-made family consisting of a son, two daughters, and the first of many grandchildren to come. Inheriting a love of music from both parents, she served over 40 years as Organist and Pianist of Rosedale Baptist Church where she and Ed were married. She considered herself blessed that some of the children and several of the grandchildren and great-grandchildren also inherited a talent for music. A skilled seamstress, quilter, crochet and needlework artist, Joann generously shared her creations and also took great pleasure in passing along these skills to her children and grandchildren. Joann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Huff, Sr.; son, Edward Huff, Jr.; and Grandson, Nicholas Hanser. She is survived by Daughters Bethany Lynn (Frank G.) Hanser and Megan Suzanne (John) Downing; Grandchildren Frank J. (Abby) Hanser, Megan Kathleen (Reggie) Hamilton, Christa (Chris) Schaffer, Sabrina (Wesley) Cain, Kamon (Mark) Wells, Kelley (Eddie) Thornton, Kristen (Matt) Kite, Timothy Downing, Evan (Stephanie) Downing, Travis Downing, and 25 Great-Grandchildren who adored her and appreciate her contributions to their lives: Jacob, Cody, Ryan, Jonas, Aaron, Kaylin, Kenton, Brianna, Wesley, Emily, Kirsa, Madison, Julia, Baby Hamilton, Kinley, Noah, Aaron, Kaiden, Kevin, William, Kamon, Nicholas, Lily, Adam, and Alex. Memorials may be made to Rosedale Baptist Church. SERVICE 12:30 PM Thursday, June 29th Rosedale Baptist Church, 407 East 45th St., Latonia, KY. VISITATION 10:30 AM until hour of service Thursday at church. Rosebud Chapter #39 OES will conduct service Noon Thursday at the church. INTERMENT Highland Cemetery, Ft.
