The Very Reverend James R. Leo. Died December 14, 2011 Cincinnati , Ohio . A 1956 graduate of Bucknell University and the General Theological Seminary in 1962. Served parishes in Pennsylvania and New York before becaming Dean of tbe American Cathedral in Paris in 1980. Later became the first Dean of Christ Church Cathedral in Cincinnati where he served from 1991-1998. While overseas, Dean Leo led an international congregation, and served many foreign and U.S. dignitaries, including 3 U.S. presidenets. He was also the personal chaplain to the Duchess of Windsor, Mrs. Wallace Simpson and presided at her burial at Windsor Castle.. Survivors include, his wife of 49 years, Patricia Elliman Leo, two sons, Dr. Jonathan (Susan) Leo, The Reverend Jason (Jeannie) Leo, and 6 Grandchildren.
