Jack C. Patterson, age 84, residence of Independence, KY passed to his eternal home on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Born on February 8, 1934 in Heidrick, Knox County, KY, to Maude and Claude Patterson. He retired from the TWA Airline Company, ran a roofing and siding business and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Jack loved to golf, hunt and fish but his true passion was time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Jack was also preceded in death by his four brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Patsy A. Bruin Patterson. His memory lives on in his son Jake and wife McKenzie, 3 step-children: Virginia (Russell Beck) Durr, Melissa Durr (Ken) Ziegelmeyer, and Jerry (Daniel) Mahan. Papaw Jack was loved and remembered by his grandhildren, Jacqueline, Andy (Andrea), Quinn, Hailey and 4 great-grandchildren. VISITATION 4 UNTIL 7 PM Friday, August 24th, Allison & Rose funeral home.
