Helen Mitchell Warneford, age 89. Resident of Covington, KY. Passed away Saturday, June 29, 2014 at the Providence Pavillion, Covington, KY. She was a homemaker, former co-owner of Glenway Pool and Park Covington, KY and Data Clerk for the Covington IRS Center. Member of Madison Avenue Christian Church, Past President (1963) Sixth District School PTA, Covington. Well known by family and friends for her fried chicken, black-eyed peas and cornbread dinners. SERVICES 1:00PM Wednesday, July 2nd, Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Robbins Street and Madison Avenue, Covington, KY. INTERMENT Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. VISITATION 11:00AM until hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home. MEMORIALS, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203. Preceded in death by her: beloved husband George Irvin Warneford (8-13-2004); parents- James and Lula Mae Adams Mitchell; brothers- Jerry and Don Mitchell. Surviving are her: sons-Geoff Warneford, Morning View, KY, Greg Warneford, Newport, RI, Chris Warneford, Erlanger, KY; grandchildren-Melissa Frits-Warneford, and Bryan Warneford; great grandchildren-Brooke Warneford and Regean Warneford.
