Helen M. Poland, age 90 passed away at Regency Care Center, Monroe, WA on October 31, 2017. Helen retired from FoxMeyer Drugs in Cincinnati, OH. While she lived in Covington, KY she was a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Covington,. Helen enjoyed those golden years traveling, gardening and volunteering with friends and neighbors who needed help, that was her spirit of life. Helen moved to Florida where she resided for six years and then relocated to Woodinville, Washington in 2005 where she made many new friends at Greenbrier Senior Heights. Helen will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her, she made people laugh and she was always there to help family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents: Richard I. Bell, Sr and Mollie Crawford Bell, three sisters, four brothers, husband Woodrow Poland, and daughter Joyce Boston. Helen leaves behind: son Don Bell, The Woodlands, TX, daughter Beverly Jane Fackelmann, Woodinville, WA;grandsons: Brian Fackelmann, Washington, Derek Boston, South Carolina, Michael Boston, Ohio; granddaughters: Audrey Paul, Florida, Lisa Buchanan California as well as seven great grandchildren: Brandon, Bridgette, Damian Buchanan, Landon, Gianna and Eyla Boston, and Grayson Boston. sister Esther Gottfried, Seymour, IN. VISITATION 10AM until 11 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
