Gayla Marie Magee, age 64, of Covington, Ky. passed away peacefully on September 21, 2022. She was born February 14, 1958. Gayla worked at Procter & Gamble for over 30 years in many varied assignments. She retired in 2017 as an Executive Assistant to the Company Attorney who was Vice President of Global Business Services. Gayla was known for her cheerful disposition and willingness to help all her colleages both inside and outside of P. & G. She was often in charge of training because of her knowledge and ability to lead teams and collaborate with diverse groups of people. She was highly respected for her attention to detail and organization skills. She will be remembered as a valued and devoted employee, an unselfish team player, and a trusted colleage and loyal friend. She is remembered by family and friends as being kind and caring, always putting the needs of others before her own. She will also be remembered for planning and organizing Halloween and Christmas parties for family, friends and coworkwers. Halloween was one of her favorite holidays and she was known to dress up in extravagent Holloween costumes. She also organized Chritsmas parties , including presents to Special Needs Children. (Hegge's Kids) thru Hegge's Bar in Covington, Ky. Gayla had a special love for animals. She was devoted to her pet fur babies and especially loved the Smokey Mountain black bears. Gayla has a love for travel and enjoyed traveling around the country. She was a fathful member of Immanuel United Church of Christ. Although she's been unable to attend church in person due to mobility issues and lack of access, she has been a good and faithful servant and has prepared the bulletins and Power Point presentations for the church services since 2006. Gayla is preceded in death by her parents Charles Thomas Magee and Beulah Mae (Marksberry) Magee and her Brother Brian Thomas Magee. She is Survived by her Sister, Charla Mae Magee, of Taylor Mill, Ky. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday September 28, 2022, with Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM at the Allison & Rose Funeral Home , 5645 Taylor Mill Road , Taylor Mill, Ky. Interment Highland Cemetery, Ft. MItchell, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel United Church of Christ (Handicapped Elevator or Ramp Fund) 110 Boone Street Bromley, Ky. 41016.
