Garnett Gerald “Jerry” Curry, 81, passed away at his Covington, Kentucky residence on Sunday November 1, 2015. He retired from the maintenance department of the Internal Revenue Service. He was a member of Covington Baptist Temple. He is survived by his wife, Clara Hurt Curry and their five children: Cheri Goldstone of Bellevue, Kentucky, David Curry of Crittenden, Kentucky, Cynthia Thomes of Florence, Kentucky, Clara Stoffel of Poland, Ohio and Christina Rodgers of Bellevue, Kentucky. He is further survived by eleven grandchildren, nieces, great grandchildren and many friends. In addition to his parents, Charles Otis and Flavia Daniel Curry, he was preceded in death by his four siblings: Vivian Curry, Eugene Gilbert Curry, Wallace Curry and Leah Faye Irwin, The funeral will be on Thursday November 5, 2015 and will be held at the Allison & Rose Funeral Home, 5645 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Visitation hours will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will begin a at 7:00 PM. On Friday November 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM, a Military Honors ceremony will be held at the Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, Kentucky.
