Dan Toppin Houston, age 75. Resident of Ft. Thomas, KY, passed to his eternal home on Sunday, March 27th at Saint Elizabeth Health Center, Fort Thomas, KY with his family by his side. Dan served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. He was a meat cutter, for the Kroger Company by trade, member of USCW Local #5. Former member of the Ft. Wright Fire Department and the Eastern Campbell Co. Volunteer Fire Department Rescue and Fire EMP and a Kentucky Colonel. Dan was loved by many and will be truly missed. Dan took pride in his family He was preceded in death by his: parents Eugene Burnett and Norma Lee Toppin Houston; late sisters Norma Jean Pinkvoss and Betty Jo Gonzales and late brother David Houston. Surviving are his daughters: Jennifer (Joseph) Gebel, Julie Houston and Jeri Houston; grandchildren: Brendan Houston, Bailey Houston and sister Mary (Wayne) Campbell. Visitation 9:00 am until hour of service at 11:00 am Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Robbins Street and Madison Avenue, Covington, KY.
