It's never easy saying goodbye, especially to a loved one so young and vibrant. Our beloved Christy Ann Tucker of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on Suday, November 22, 2020 after a four-year battle with cancer. She fought a hard battle ever day and never gave up. Unfortunately, her body gave up on her. During her youth, Christy was involved in gymnastics and dance which led to varsity cheerleading at Scott High School. After graduating from Scott, Christy attended the Art Institute of Cincinati and graduated with a graphic arts degree in 2006. Much of her free time involved painting and drawing. Christy loved the outdoors, especially her time at the lake and many family trips to the beach. Christy was passionate about the welfare of animals and took particular pride in supporting many dog-rescue foundations. Otis, the family's lab took great care of Christy the last couple of years, especially during her toughest days. She was predeceased by her: maternal grandfather Ralph Schawe; pateral grandparents Frank and Ruth Allan Tucker; uncles Tommy, Richard, and David Tucker. She is survived by her: parents Gerry B. and Lisa Schawe Tucker; brother Cory (Danielle) Tucker. Maternal grandmother Rita Schawe; maternal aunt Amy (Brian) Neal and uncle Michael (Angie) Schawe; Paternal uncles and aunts; Kelly (Holly) Tucker, Bill (Pat) Tucker, Fran (Tim) Slone, Lesie (Pat) Gillispie, Becky (Rick) Owings, Ginny (Larry) Carson, Nancy Dunhan, Carol (Chuck) Floyd, Lynn Tucker; and many nephews and nieces. Visitation 9:00 am until hour of service at 12 Noon, Friday, November 27th, Allison & Rose Funeral Home, 5645 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY. Interment Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill, KY. Memorials, if desired, may be directed to Cincinnati Lab Rescue, P O Box 30561, Cincinnati, OH 45230.
