Charles “Charlie” R. Chambers, Age 79. Died Monday, June 27, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center Edgewood. Retired after 22 years of service as Army Sergeant Major (E-9). Member of: Kelly Furnish VFW Post #7099 (Past Commander). E-9’s (Sergeant Majors) National Retirees’ Association. DAV Retirees’ Ft Knox, KY. and Covington Turners. Served St. John Church with Bingos, fish frys, collection of offerings at Masses. MEMORIAL MASS 7PM Friday, July 8th, St. John Church, 627 Pike Street, Covington, KY.
