Cecil Eugene Hatton, age 85, resident of Burlington, KY passed to his eternal home, Friday, August 16, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood, KY. He was a Kentucky Colonel and retired owner/operator of Hatton Sign Company. Cecil was also a talented musician, singer and songwriter who enjoyed singing every chance he could, Preceded in death by his Parents Mattie Ann Hall Garrett and Rufford Alson Hatton; grandson Shane Edward Hatton; great grandson Zachary Lee Fernandez brothers Clifford Paul Hatton and Rufford Doyle Hatton and sisters Sonna Gaye Sealy and Rhonda Gayle Kyde. He is survived by his: beloved wife of 63 years Ailene Lawson Hatton; sons Scott Steven Hatton, Robert Alson (Tammy) Hatton and Ronald Gene (Savanna) Hatton; daughter Eugenia Ann (Tom) Fernandez; 9-grandchildren; 30-great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; and brother Conley Hatton. Visitation 11:00 am until hour of service at 1:00 pm Friday, August 23rd at the Allison & Rose Funeral Home, 5645 Taylor Mill , KY. Interment Burlington Cemetery, Burlington, KY.
