Betty Jane Mercer Cox, age 91. Resident of Florence, KY. Passed away, Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Heritage Spring Care Center, West Chester, OH. Retired co-owner/operator of the B & B Cafe Latonia KY. Retired employee for Howard Johnson Motel, Erlanger, KY and retired cashier for Pilot Travel Center, Richwood, KY. SERVICE 1:00PM Friday, August 14th, Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Robbins Street and Madison Avenue, Covington, KY. INTERMENT Highland Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, KY. VISITATION 11AM until hour of service Friday at the funeral home. MEMORIALS, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017 or American Diabetes Association, 644 Linn Street, Cincinnati, OH 45203. Preceded in death by: her: husband-Byron O “Barney” Cox, daughter-Beverly Ann Cox; grandson-Russell Cox; parents-George and Florence Ober Mercer; late brothers-Glenn, George and James Mercer; and sister Alice O’Dowd. Survived by her: daughter-Barbara Cox (Steve) Swisshelm; son-William B. (Mimi) Cox; grandchildren: James C.
