Anne Frances Moser Flannery, 87, of Covington, devoted wife mother and grandmother died on January 31, 2015 at St.Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY, fortified with the Sacraments of the Catholic Church and surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Mary Macke Moser, husband Patrick Flannery, daughters Sharon Flannery, Kathleen Flannery Harding and granddaughter Emily Anne Harding. She is survived by daughter, Molly Flannery of Covington, sons, Patrick (Sonya) Flannery of Park Hills and Kevin (Pam) Flannery of Ft. Mitchell, grandsons Patrick Flannery IV of Shanghai China and Sean Flannery of Ft. Mitchell, sister Jinny Horgan of Ft. Mitchell, Martha Leonard of Hyde Park, OH, Claire Mountel of Fayetteville, NC, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Anne made a home for her husband and children on Riverside Drive in Covington, beginning in 1954. She was a champion of the city and had served on the Covington Board of Adjustments. A member of the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption in Covington since her baptism there as an infant, she was an usher, member of the Bereavement Committee and The Ladies Society of the Cathedral. She also worked as a tax accountant with her husband’s law firm. Anne faced the many tragic losses of her life with great courage built upon a foundation of her faith in God. She was a compassionate woman with an open heart who was always willing to help others. Her ability to look for the positive in all things was an inspiration to those who knew her.
