Ann Finnell Weaver, Born: December 18, 1929 – MorningView, Kentucky. Died: November 12, 2014 – Florence, Kentucky. Age 84. Ann Finnell Weaver, a servant of the Lord, passed peacefully from this life in the presence of her children into the presence of her God. Due to her Mother’s poor health, Ann assumed responsibilities for helping care for her younger brother and two younger sisters. At the tender age of ten, Ann was prparing meals for her parents and eight siblings on their small farm in southern Kenton County. This preprared Ann for her life’s mission of raising her own five children for whom she provided a steadfast center of love and warmth. An extremely compassionate person, Ann endearded herself to complete strangers in a matter of seconds. A talented seamstress and amazing homemaker, Ann worked tirelessly to provide for her family and was loved by all who knew her. Ann embodied the love of her Savior, Jesus, and was a charter member of the two churches founded by her son, Bo (Fellowship of Believers in Florence and The Bridge Community Church in Wilder) and was a never-ending source of inspiration and encouragement to many. When well into her seventies, Ann and her good friend, Norm Sweeney were a much loved part of Biker’s Church, which Ann loved attending in her stylish leathers. Ann is Survived by: her children Cheri (Tom) Stewart of Florence, Beegee (Ray) Rechenberg of Hamilton, OH, Bo (Jannie) of Ft. Thomas, Joe (Esta) of Florence, Jon (Lori) of Petersburg, her grandchildren, Christine (Michael) Murphy of California, Elizabeth Rechenberg (Cincinnati), Jon II (Jada) Walton, Lauren of Petersburg, Alison (Whitney) Clayton of Bellevue, Carly of Southgate and her great-grandchldren, Ava, Demi, Karsten Murphy, Emerson Clayton and Asher Clayton. She is also survived her her sisters Barbara Joyce (Robert) Jett and Jessie Jo (Stewart) Halbauer. She was preceded in death by her parents John Addison and Edna Barberick Finnell, brothers James, Earl, John, Calvin, Denver, Ray and sister Gloria. Ann also leaves a large number of beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday November 16th 4;00-7;00 p.m. at The Bridge Community Church located at 1019 Town Drive in Wilder, KY with a Memorial Service to follow. A graveside service will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill on Monday November 17th at 10;00 a.m. Gifts of remembrances in her honor may be sent to The Bridge Community Church – Possess the Land Building Campaign P.O.
