Dear Heckman Family.

John Heckman and I butted heads when I was his student yet he was one of my favorite people. I had the occasion to speak with him a few times as an adult we laughed at my stubbornness as a teen.
He was a shining light to all his students and athletes. Holmes High wasnt the same without him and neither will the world. He will surely be missed.
